I enrolled in an MCA settlement program and the pressure has not stopped. Should I cancel it?

I own a retail business with multiple MCAs and I joined a debt settlement program because I thought it would stop the daily pressure. The program takes a large weekly payment and a big fee, but the funders are still calling and I do not see real settlements happening. I am scared to cancel because I do not want to make things worse. How do I judge whether the program is helping?

Judge the program by documented results, not promises. Ask which funders have settled, what written agreements exist, how much of your payment is going to fees, how much is being held for settlements, and whether UCC filings, lawsuits, ACH disputes, and personal guarantees are being addressed. If the program is draining operating cash while legal risk keeps rising, it may be making the recovery harder. Before canceling, review the contract, cancellation terms, escrow balance, and any active negotiations. Then compare direct negotiation, attorney-led settlement, restructuring, and bankruptcy advice if the debt load is no longer workable.
